According to a recent report nearly two thirds of the top 100 consumer web sites are built in multiple versions and working around browser incompatibilities adds at least 25 percent to the cost of web sites The WEB STANDARDS PROJECT is a coalition of web developers and users. Their mission is to stop the fragmentation of the web, by persuading browser makers that standards are in everyone's best interest. Together we can make the web accessible to everyone.
